Dear Kriesi Team,
I have an strange problem with your Animated Number Elements in my present development. The logos I utilized look like japanese ideograms.
I have done some test from a laptop LENOVO Yoga PRO new and the Animated Number Elements looks bad, like as with japanese ideograms. But only as you navigate the website from Firefox and Google Chrome. It looks perfect from the same LENOVO laptop with Internet Explorer. In all cases I always have installed the latest versions of the browsers.
However, I have tested it with Firefox, Google Chrome and Internet Explorer from a DELL desktop and you can see perfectly well the little logos.
Plus, I can see everything well when I utilize an IPad Tablet with the two browsers, Safari and Google Chrome Apple iOS versions. Besides, and I can see everything well with the smartphones, Apple and Nokia, with Safari and Internet Explorer browsers.
To summarize and make it clear the problem, it happens only when you access the website from a laptop and only with the browsers Google Chrome and Firefox, never with IE.
My client is the one who has found the problem, and he uses always a laptop.
Same problem with the logos in the small bar above Main Menu.
How can I send you an snapshot image?
Can you help me?. Many thanks and regards, AdolfoFebruary 4, 2015 at 12:03 am #390454Just to tell you an idea I have had,…
– My Dell with Windows Vista 7 and Firefox, Google Chrome and Internet Explorer = No problems, everything works well. No Japanese ideograms.
– My Lenovo Laptop and the Client Laptop, both with Windows 8.1, Firefox and Google Chrome = Problems presented. The Animated Number Elements logos look like Japanese ideograms. But not if you access the website with a Laptop, Windows 8.1 and Internet Explorer.
Do you think that Windows 8,1, Firefox and Google Chrome and the problem with the Japanese ideograms have something to do? Why everything works well if you access the WebSite with IE?. Might it have a possible relationship?
Tonight we have a very cold night in Madrid. Regards, AdolfoFebruary 4, 2015 at 10:23 pm #390962Hey!
Can you have your client take a screenshot of what he is seeing? I tried viewing your site but the password is not working.
Cheers!

Hmm, well it looks fine on my end. Is the problem only happening for your client and not yourself? Try having him reinstall his web browsers and/or view on a different computer.
You can upload a screenshot with imgur.com and then click on the “img” button when writing a reply to display the screenshot.

ElliottFebruary 5, 2015 at 7:55 pm #391603Hi,
The problem appear to me all the times (in Madrid) and also to my client (in Granada). Only with Windows 8.1 and Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox. Not with IE.
The problem does not appear with Windows Vista 7 and Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox and IE. As you can see we are using 3 different computers.
The problem does not appear with my IPad tablet with 2 browsers, Safari and Google Chrome for iOS. Besides, the problem does not appear with 2 different smartphones, Apple and Nokia, with Safari and Internet Explorer browsers.
To summarize and make it clear the problem, it happens only when you access the website from a laptop and only with Windows 8.1 and the browsers Google Chrome and Firefox, never with IE. And it happens not only with the Animated Number Elements but also with the logos in the small bar above Main Menu and with the logos in the socket. You can find an image in,…Many thanks and best regards, Adolfo

¡¡¡So, I finally have found the solution,…!!! And is a very easy one.
You should enter the WP Dashboard, and in Settings/Writing you have to select in Formatting both tickets,
1. Convert emoticons like :-) and :-P to graphics on display, and
2. WordPress should correct invalidly nested XHTML automatically
3. Click in Save Changes
That’s all,… ¡¡¡So easy and simple solution!!!
I tell you my experience in case other people present and ask you for the same problem.
Best regards and many thanks for your attention, AdolfoApril 27, 2015 at 6:21 am #435030 -
