    Hi,

    I am trying to use NextGen Image Gallery to organize my images in a site built with enfold. These images should be used in catalogue shortcodes, but I can’t use them because the button in the catalogue element editor for “Change Images” opens a Change Image window with no sidebars and I can’t access the NextGen Image Gallery functionalities.

    I need this button to open the same window as the “Add Media” button in the HTML editor. Is this possible? How can I do that?

    Hey nementio!

    That’s going to take a lot of time and code to do that so it would have to be considered custom work. Instead when you click on the add media button use the “Insert from URL” setting to select the NextGEN image you need to use.

    Thanks Elliot,

    I can’t use the “Add media button”, because what I want is to change the image of the element in the catalogue, and this has an especific button (“Cambiar Imagen” in spanish, I suppose it must be something like “Change Image”). This button opens a window to select the image from the media library, but this window doesn’t have sidebars and doesn’t allow to insert from URL neither.

    Hi!

    There is no option like that for the catalogue, you will need to use the media library for that. As an alternative you can upload a few images to the media library from your nextGEN albums to use there.

    You can create a feature request for this but I’m not sure if it’s something we would be able to get added or not.
