    I just installed Enfold, and set up a child theme to start customising. Then i noticed that the icon font was not working – just showing boxes. I activated the original theme again to make sure it wasn’t a child-theme issue, but its not working there either.
    Then i tried uploading some new icons from Fontello, but the new ones don’t work either.

    Please can anyone assist???

    These are some of the things i have tried:

    1. de-activating all plugins
    2. empty cache/ disabling cache
    3. refreshing browser (all affected) a million times
    4. checking file and folder permissions
    5. adding to the .htaccess files: 
      <FilesMatch "\.(ttf|otf|woff)$">
<IfModule mod_headers.c>
        Header set Access-Control-Allow-Origin "*"
</IfModule>
</FilesMatch>

    none of the above has worked, but it IS a permissions problem as this is the error i am getting:
    failed to load resource the server responded with a status of 403 (forbidden) wordpress

    any ideas please?
