Hi,
I have a client whose website has a menu which is large and has been displayed as an image in a gallery.
I would like to ask, is there a way to enable zooming into the image after the light box has appeared? Or make the image appear larger?
It seems as though the lightbox always fits the image to the page width.
Thanks for your help in advance
Absurdity
January 30, 2015 at 9:52 am #388176Hi absurdity69!
Thank you for using Enfold.
Try to increase the size of the Large thumbnail on Settings > Media panel then regenerate the thumbnails using this plugin: https://wordpress.org/plugins/regenerate-thumbnails/

IsmaelJanuary 30, 2015 at 9:21 pm #388511Thank you Ismael but I don’t want the thumbnail resized.
I want the image in the lightbox to be larger or I want to be able to zoom in to it.
How can I achieve that?
February 1, 2015 at 9:30 am #388974Hi!
I’m not referring to the thumbnail. Please try to follow the suggestion above. Let us know if the lightbox image change. A link to the actual page with the image will help.

I think its incompatible. See : https://wordpress.org/support/topic/compatible-with-wordpress-41-42
Please provide me with another solution.
Thank you

Use this plugin instead: https://wordpress.org/plugins/simple-image-sizes/
Go to Settings > Media.

October 14, 2016 at 2:12 pm #699127Hi,
a zooming effect is nothing which the theme can provide for you. For such a function you would need to search an external plugin with such a function.

AndyOctober 26, 2016 at 12:40 pm #704244Hey,
I need a zoom function for the lightbox as well. Can I open the lightbox with jquery? Cause there is a jquery-plugin “zbox” which could be integrated: http://www.jqueryscript.net/lightbox/jQuery-Gallery-Lightbox-With-Image-Zoom-zbox.html
Any idea how I could integrate that one?

You can try using – https://www.magictoolbox.com/magiczoom/ or https://www.magictoolbox.com/magiczoomplus/. Both plugins work fine with Enfold :)

YigitOctober 26, 2016 at 5:22 pm #704445That looks good! It works with the galery pictures. But if I open the picture in the lightbox, it doesn’t work. I guess I have to add the class “MagicZoom” to the lightbox image. How can I add this class there?

October 31, 2016 at 2:39 pm #706175Hi,
Sorry for the late reply.
Check out this: http://www.no-margin-for-errors.com/projects/prettyphoto-jquery-lightbox-clone/#prettyPhoto
With this you can create HTML links, where it might be possible to add a class element as well. Hope this will work for you.Best regards,
