Hi guys,
I’ve been witnessing a pretty strange behavior in the last week or so on a few pages of websites I’ve done and haven’t touched in a while.
Basically, with Chrome the background images set within certain pages start messing up the rendering when scrolling up and down the page. They break or in some cases they disappear completely, making the background totally white. It only happens on Chrome and not in Safari or Firefox.
I initially thought it was a problem with my macbook air, since I only saw that behaviour happening there and not on my iMac. Curiously though, this is happening on the iMac as well now and it only occurs with Chrome.
I tried uninstalling and reinstalling Chrome, clearing all the cache and following tutorials on how to completely clean your computer from Chrome and reinstalling. I even brought the laptop to an Apple store and had them checking it out, with the same problem replicating over and over again, and they too had no idea what the reason for that was. Here are two examples occurring on different sites:
https://casateulada.com/calendar-rates/
http://cortijolahoya.vacationrentalsecrets.com/calendar-rates/This may not happen on your computer (maybe it doesn’t if you don’t have a mac), however if you scroll down the page, you should see the first section with the calendars displayed and a background image, then as you scroll down there is a section with the rates and another background image of white sand, then one with a form and another background image.
The first image messes up and the others don’t show up at all. Again, this occurs on Chrome only and not on Firefox or Safari.Do you have any idea how to fix this? Is it maybe a bug?
Thanks
Antonio
January 28, 2015 at 6:05 pm #387223Hi Antonio!
You need to update Enfold to the latest version, 3.0.7, and then clear your browser cache and check back in Chrome to see if it does the same.
Your also getting some javascript errors so you will want to deactivate all plugins while testing.
Cheers!

I updated like you said (actually version 3.0.8. so probably brand new!), cleared cache and now it’s working correctly.
Thanks.
PS: Is there a way to correct the javascript errors you got? I don0t know anything about it and would really like to have that solved, because I think that’s also causing some issues.
Thanks.

Glad you figured it out! Please try de-activating all active plugins as Elliott suggested and check if that helps

The other problem about the forms mentioned here (https://kriesi.at/support/topic/problem-with-forms/) is still in place though.Antonio
