    I have inserted a Color Section modul on the page. I want the parallax effect when scrolling. To use as a page break.

    First I used 1280×720 image and limited to 200px in height on the page. The parallax effect works great.

    but

    The image was VERY low resolution. As if a image was 400 pixels wide and blown up to fullscreen.

    So I uploaded a over 3000 pixel wide image. Same result. Image looks grainy and low resolution.

    It looks horrible! What is going on?

    please try to regenerate your images using this plugin: https://wordpress.org/plugins/regenerate-thumbnails/
    If that not helps please provide us admin access to have a look into the issue. You can post login details here as private message.

    Didn’t need it. But it jogged my memory about how there is a small setting to the right that ask how large you want the image in WP. By default its set to very small. Not very user friendly placement. It should default to what ever original size is of the image and then if you need to reduce it you can actively change it.

    Set it to image size and it works great now!
