    In a brand new slider i put the following test shortcode in the text/html content

    [av_heading heading='testing' tag='h2' style='' size='' subheading_active='' subheading_size='15' padding='10' color='' custom_font=''][/av_heading]

    When i preview in design mode i get the short code code. Whn i load the page i get a blank slide.

    IF i put a text after the shortcode and save, then i get everything. If i remove the text and leave the shortcode then it still continues to operate.

    Any ideas? I only have a background color in the slide

    Also i need to do everythign to get it right..
    I mean add text with shortcode, click on text/html AND on text and also to preview it.

    Thank you for using Enfold.

    The shortcodes will not work on the layer slider preview or inside the layer slider editor but it should work on the frontend.

    Yeap i am not expecting for shortcodes to work on preview..But they dont work in frontend UNLESS you put something else EXCEPT the shortcode itself…

    I tested the shortcodes above and it works fine. Place it inside the HTML / Video / Audio layer.

    This is where i am putting them…Is it a difference if the shortcode comes from the template and not from wp core?

    I’m not sure if I understand you correctly. I just tested the special heading shortcode you provided above and it works fine.
