    Hi

    I have created a custom widget area from within the admin but don’t need it anymore. How can I permanently delete it? My search only led to unregister_… method but I don’t want it to be registered and then unregistered. Is there a way to delete it altogether as if it never existed?

    Hey sharonAlR!

    All you have to do is hit the red x icon in Dashboard > Appearance > Widgets to delete it.

    I managed to miss it :-) I’m in RTL and the check was located under the widget name.
