Hello,
for a few days now I have a big problem with the Avia layout designer: It only accepts every second memory action (actualization). As a result thereof I have to reload the revision again and again in order to restore the work, All trials to solve this problem have come to nothing. For example I deactivated all plug-ins, I wrote the page completely new ……
I hope very much that you can present me with a solution for this problem and thank you very much for your efforts.Günther Link
January 21, 2015 at 9:50 pm #383367Hi IMPLUS!
So the problem is when you hit update for your page it doesn’t actually save? It only saves when you hit update the second time?
Let’s try the following.
1. Deactivate all plugins.
2. Completely delete Enfold from your WordPress theme directory before downloading + uploading a fresh copy from themeforest.
If your still having the problem after doing the above two steps then send us a WordPress login and we’ll take a look.

Thank you very much for your fast reply. I did as you suggested, but unfortunately it only functioned in parts. Now the problem has been reduced to the fact that still only every second actualization works on the starting page of the home page. This is a very uncomfortable situation to work with.
How can I get my login data to you. Can you give me instructions in this respect. Thank you very much in advance for your trouble.regards

I am not sure if I really understand the issue, but I think I it might be clear when I have a look into your backend. You can post your login details here as a private message. Only the moderators will be able to see it.
Best regards,

I think I am having the same problem with the Avia Layout Designer.
When I try to edite my page and ad text for example, the changes aren’t saved. When I press update only the first color section remains and all the other elements are gone. Then I have to restore the previous revision to get those elements back onto the page. It’s quite a tedious process as you can imagine.
If I understand correctly, I have to try the steps that are mentioned above.
I have a question about the second step:
2. Completely delete Enfold from your WordPress theme directory before downloading + uploading a fresh copy from themeforest.Does this mean that you have to start all over again, in other words create you’re pages again etc.?
Thanks in advance!
Best Regards,
Joyce
January 26, 2015 at 4:54 pm #385577Hi!
I edited your homepage but everything seems to be displaying fine for me still. Can you take a screenshot of the problem so we can get a better idea?
@mverhoosel, No, you do not have to start over. All of your content is saved in the database and not in the theme files. Send us a WordPress login if doing the above three steps do not work.Cheers!

Did you add any html codes on the home page content? Make sure that all tags are properly closed. I was able to CREATE and UPDATE a test page without losing content here: http://test.implus-immobilien.de/wp-admin/post.php?post=3358&action=edit&message=1

IsmaelFebruary 3, 2015 at 10:46 am #389949Hi Ismael,
Thanks for your reply. I tried to edit a page on my laptop at home and the advanced layout builder worked fine for me too.
I guess the problem only occurs when i try to edit the page on my computer at work. The same problem occured when whe tried to edit a page on my colleague’s computer. Could it be possible that our network at the office causes the problem?
Best regards.
Joyce
February 3, 2015 at 9:22 pm #390383Hey!
I would try contacting your network administrators at your work and let them know about this to see if they have any idea on what it could be.
If it’s happening on all computers at your network and clearing your browser cache / viewing in different browsers does not fix it then it could be a problem with your network.
Cheers!
ElliottFebruary 4, 2015 at 9:49 am #390593Hello Elliot,
Thanks, I will contract our network administrators. Perhaps they’ll have a solution. The problem is now contained to just one page, luckily.
Cheers!

February 5, 2015 at 12:17 pm #391238Hey!
Try to switch the builder to debug mode (http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/enable-advanced-layout-builder-debug/) then copy the actual shortcode on a text file. Delete the page then recreate it again. Move the shortcode inside the shortcode field.
Cheers!
