Hi, Whenever I use a color section, I cannot align any of the elements within it. They automatically go to the left. Even if I use three one-third elements, they are not spread evenly, but go to the left.
I have turned off all the plugins and it is still doing it. If I take a text box out of the color section, i can center it, but as soon as I put it back in, it slides to the left.
The two pictures show the problem…

January 18, 2015 at 5:22 pm #381483Hi nigdowser!
In the textblock element switch to the text editor and surround your text with this.
<p style = "text-align:center;"> </p>
Best regards,
ElliottJanuary 19, 2015 at 11:40 pm #382173I’ve already done that to no effect! (I wasn’t notified of this response, so didn’t answer it earlier.)
I can’t think of what is going wrong, as it doesn’t seem to make any sense. The two pictures I posted show the same text box, one centered, the other not. it’s hugely frustrating as part of the design concept of the website is alternating color sections…. which now don’t work.
I’m sending login details separately as I suspect I’ll be asked for those later :-)

Your CSS is a bit messed up. I think it’s from your “autooptimize” plugin. Go ahead and deactivate all of your plugins to see if that fixes it. If it does then reactivate them one by one to see which one is causing the problem.
Best regards,
ElliottJanuary 21, 2015 at 5:47 pm #383181I have a staging site where I have turned off all plugins and the problem still exists. I tried turning off the Autoptimize plugin on the live site and no difference.
Any ideas?
ThanksJanuary 22, 2015 at 5:57 pm #383829Hey!
Try completely deleting Enfold from your WordPress theme directory before downloading + uploading a fresh copy from themeforest.
Best regards,
ElliottJanuary 22, 2015 at 8:48 pm #383978Went in via SFTP and deleted the enfold folder.
Activated another theme
Downloaded enfold from themeforest
uploaded the zip file and activated it
Went to test page and the alignment is still wrong.
Tried creating another page with the same elements and the same problem persistsThe new install caught all the old Quick CSS and styling options. Is that correct? Or was the deletion inadequate in some way?
January 23, 2015 at 6:55 pm #384548I’ve done a similar page on another site which works just fine.
The page is at sixthsenseconsulting.com/test-page
You can log in as an admin at sixthsenseconsulting.com/wp-login.php using the same credentials I sent earlier for the problem site.
Perhaps there is some difference you can see between the two which I cannot?
Plus, on a side note, I never get email notifications of your replies here, despite the fact that it’s checked and I have checked spam. Strange
January 24, 2015 at 11:49 am #384839Hey!
I would like to check the page but it’s missing: http://sixthsenseconsulting.com/test-page
Is this fixed? Try to remove browser cache then reload the page.
Cheers!

January 26, 2015 at 12:21 pm #385382January 26, 2015 at 7:20 pm #385746Jeez, guys! This is taking forever!! It’s 10 days later, and I really want to be able to set up a launch page for a ptroduct, but without the color section, it’s going to look crap!.
The page is at http://thesixthsensesolution.com/test-page/ and you can login as an admin if necessary using credentials sent earlier.
Please tell me you can fix this!!
And why am i never getting any email notification of replies? They’re not in spam.
January 27, 2015 at 8:20 am #386027Hey!
The test page looks fine when I checked it yesterday. You have this code which breaks the layout of the page content:
#top #main .avia-section .template-page { width: 60%; border: 0; margin-left: auto; padding-left: 0; margin-right: auto; }
Remove it. Probably located on Quick CSS or custom.css.
Cheers!
IsmaelJanuary 27, 2015 at 7:26 pm #386532I think that’s fixed it, but I have no recollection of ever putting that in place to begin with!!
Thanks!!
