    I have the latest version (3.0.4) and when submitting an email via the contact form the email is never received.

    Please advise.

    Hey thedook!

    This is usually a problem with your server. Contact your hosting provider and check to see if PHP mail is working properly. Also double check your email address to see if there is any typos and check your spam folder as well.

    If your host requires you to use SMTP mail then you can use this plugin, https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-smtp/.

    Thanks Elliott..

    I’ve emailed my hosting provider to ask them about PHP mail. I tried to use the mentioned plug in, but it would not work either. Any other ideas to check if they say PHP mail is working fine?

    Hey Cathy!

    You can set-up a test form with this plugin to discard if the issue is coming from the theme.

    Another thing you can try is attempt to recover your password from the login page, check if you get the recovery password mail.

    Hey Josue..

    Thanks for the suggestion.. when i try to recover my pw i see…
    The e-mail could not be sent.
    Possible reason: your host may have disabled the mail() function.

    I will wait to hear back from my hosting company.

    fixed. was a configuration issue in my php.ini file.
