Hi I am having a problem with the masonry gallery. I am using a flexible layout so the thumbnails show portrait and landscape and all fitted together. I want to have 1 pixel gaps so I select this. I also want to have 4 columns of images.
My problem is that the gaps are not even. Sometime there is a gap and sometime there isn’t there. I’ve added a link to the page. You can see the problem here. It seems to vary on different sized monitors. If you don’t see any issues then resize your browser and you should see the problem.
I can’t work out why this is or how to solve it?
Thanks!
Hi Carerra!
Try adding this to your custom CSS.
.av-1px-gap.av-flex-size .av-masonry-entry .av-inner-masonry { margin-right: 2px !important; }
That should make it so the gap is visible on all monitors.
Best regards,
Elliott
Hi Elliott,
I have the same problem, also if I use your code.
I can’t see even gaps on your demo site too… tested both with Chrome and Firefox.
Please help me,
thanks in advance!

Hi,
I am having the same problem with the masonry gallery. I have tested on both Safari and Chrome and the gaps are not even. Any suggestions?
Kind regards,
Elain
Hi,
The theme uses the isotope script to calculate the position of the masonry items and like many scripts, it’s not perfect specially when the width of the items are percentage based. Try to adjust the width of the masonry items to improve the gap:
.av-masonry-entry {
width: 25%;
}
Note that the result may be differ on browsers and monitor resolutions.
Best regards,
