Hi Guys
Not sure if there is a simple answer to this but I have to ask as it could cut my workload down considerably.
I am looking to build a website with Enfold in the Root folder and then clones of the Root folder Enfold site going into subfolders. I then wanted to edit the clones to showcase Demo examples of enfold.
Even though the Clones are in different folders they still wont change their styling attributes to something different than the original. I can change Boxed to full width and image backgrounds in sections but things like border colours/font colours or even trying to change to all black it wont change.
In the themes options panel I make the changes and I get the message telling me that the changes have been made but when I go back to the front end and refresh no changes are apparent.
Ive cleared my browser cache etc but what ever I do the clone still wants to hang on to the styling of the original.
If I do individual installs of enfold into each folder then no problem but then I have to build each demo from scratch instead of just changing a few sliders, theme colours and fonts.
Have you an idea why a cloned install behaves like this? your a life saver if you do!!!
I clone via Cpanel in Softaculous where it shows the wordpress installs and gives you a clone option to the right
Other than that no issues with Enfold at all.
Please advise
Kindest regards
Pete

Thanks for using Enfold.
I’ve never done that before so not really sure what could be going on. It sounds like they are all grabbing their content from the same database? Have you considered using WordPress network? http://codex.wordpress.org/Create_A_Network
If your importing the demo content into each installation then it should be importing all of the settings, pages, posts, sliders, etc etc, everything you need.
Best regards,
