I have been using Enfold for a couple of weeks and love it. However, this morning I could no longer drag and drop menu items to new positions in the WordPress menu builder. The debugger tells me that jQuery is undefined, specifically in the load-scripts.php (in wp-admin directory). I am new to WordPress and have no idea why this has just started to fail.

Please let me know if you need the private credentials to access my site. It is hosted at GoDaddy, and they tried the 2012 theme and the menu builder drag and drop worked just fine so they suggest the problem is in Enfold. I have no plugins installed.

    Thank you.

** NOTE…I found the source of the problem..I had checked ‘Use Google CDN for jQuery’ in the LayerSlider options…this enqueues jQuery again in the scripts.php under LayerSlider/wp and results in the double load…consequently breaking the menu builder. I turned the option off and all was again well.

    Hey Richard!

    Thanks for using Enfold.

Is WordPress and Enfold updated? The latest version of Enfold is 3.0.4.

Make sure they are updated and then send us a WordPress login and we’ll take a look.

    Regards,
    Elliott

    Hey!

It looks like you have an extra copy of jQuery loading from Google which should not be happening.

I would try completely deleting Enfold from your WordPress theme directory before downloading + uploading a fresh copy from themeforest.

If that does not help then I would try creating a backup and then reinstall WordPress.

    Cheers!
