    Hi there,

    I have the username and API key installed on my site, and it tells me that the theme is therefore updated automatically.
    I tried to update manually, and am told I don’t need to.
    However, the newest WordPress update does not work with this updated Enfold theme.
    I have WPEngine update WordPress but we had problems, so reverted back to the previous version of WP.

    Your thoughts?

    Hi Katherine!

    In this case i’d suggest updating via FTP:

    Sometimes the auto updater may fail because it depends on an external API.
