    Hi there,

I have a couple of issues with Enfold and I was wondering if anyone would be able to assist.

    1) – The read more link text which can be seen here http://www01.animal-print.dk/?page_id=1459 as […] appears to be defined by php files (please correct me if I’m wrong). Which php file(s) define this and how can I restore the link on it (it doesn’t link to anything at present).
    2) – On this page http://www01.animal-print.dk/?page_id=4673 in the Advanced Editor the ø is displaying as some very bizzare code. In addition to this, if I open the team member element containing this skand character it deletes the element below. I’ve tried creating the element fresh, and tried using html code for the skand but it still won’t work. What makes it worse is that skands seems to work fine in other elements. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks

    Hi 247photo!

    Thank you for using Enfold.

1.) Please edit the blog post element then set the Blog Content length to Excerpt with read more link.

2.) The font use on the advance layout builder does not support latin extensions, I think that’s why the skand character is not showing up properly. The skand character ø on “Allan Mørch” is working fine on the frontend. Did you add any html codes on the element? Make sure that you close the tags properly.

    Regards,
    Ismael

    Hi Ismael,

Thanks for the reply. In relation to your answers

    1) I’ve already set it to Excerpt with read more link although this doesn’t give me any capability to edit […] nor does it apply an actual link to it unless I view categories individually.

    2) Skand characters work in other fields, and I know it shows fine on the frontend. The main issue here is that it is causing issues for editing (it deletes all the content in the element when I open it). The only code I tried, and then subsequently removed as it didn’t work is &#oslad;

Thanks again, I look forward to your reply.

    Hey!

1.) Looks like you figure this one out. I checked the website and there are read more links on the excerpt.

2.) Instead of typing the html entity code manually, try to copy the symbol ø and paste it on the editor. Seems to be more consistent.

    Cheers!

    Thanks for the response Ismael,

In relation to the first query, you are right, I did figure out how to get the links showing, however, it isn’t quite working 100%. As you can see when you go onto the Blog page, the first article doesn’t show a link. It’s only this article that’s doing it, and only on the main Blog page. Not quite sure why.

Also, as I asked originally, how do I edit the […]?

    You’ve been great so far.

    Cheers

Also, whilst I remember (sorry to be such a pain), I’ve noticed on the category and tag pages they take their styling for the Post Title and Meta Info directly from the posts themselves, instead of using the styling on the main blog page. Is there a way to change this so it uses the same styling as the main blog page?

    Hey!

Please post the login details here so that we can take a look. You can set the Blog Style of the archive pages (category, tag) on Enfold > Blog Layout > Blog Style.

    Best regards,
    Ismael

    Hi again,

Thanks for all the help you’ve given so far, it’s greatly appreciated. It seems however that fixing one problem is only leading to another.

Now the featured images aren’t displaying anywhere on the blog. Do you have any idea what is going on and how I can sort this out once and for all.

    Thanks
