I have a standard WooCommerce installation (i.e. none of the default pages have been changed) except for the Quick CSS you recommend to remove tags from the product page.
When I load the shop page, I get five failed to load resource errors. Similarly, if I load a single product page, I get six errors and nothing shows under the Description tab (see
In each case, the error seems to result from the domain name being repeated in the url, e.g. http://elemen.com.au/elemen.com.au/wp-content/plugins/woocommerce/assets/js/frontend/woocommerce.min.js?ver=2.2.8
I have tried turning off the few plugins I have running and reinstalling WooCommerce from scratch but the problem persists.
I would be grateful for any help.

What happens in the default theme? Send us a WordPress login and we’ll take a closer look.
Cheers!

Your link redirects me to another site. Is there a special way to login?

I apologise.

It’s no problem. I deactivated all of your other plugins except Woocommerce and the 404 errors went away. Try reactivating them one by one to see which is causing the problem.
When you find the plugin responsible try switching to the default theme to see if you get the errors there as well.
Cheers!

December 6, 2014 at 7:09 am #364022Thank you. The problem was with a plugin called Root Relative URLs that I suspect had been installed with a theme I tried before settling on Enfold. I thought I’d cleaned everything out before switching to Enfold but this is a lesson that it is easy to miss things.
Of more interest is that I had already tried deactivating plugins other than WooCommerce as part of a usual first round troubleshooting and, unlike this time, it didn’t fix the problem. The only thing I can think of is that there had been a DDOS attack on Rackspace around that time and our host had turned on a bunch of CloudFlare services. For some unknown reason our site initially didn’t roll back correctly causing some weird caching issues that affected stuff across the site.
Anyway, all is well. I think it is fantastic that you support neophytes such as myself with as much effort as you give to the experts. All I can say is well done and thank you.
