Help with short codes for columns

Hey I am new to this and other themes I have worked with were bootstarp and if I wanted to create columns it was easy to code

So I see a tab that says shortcodes and then I Click columns and I get to this

It shows the columns layout but … WHERE ARE THE SHOTCODES? TO DO this or …what grid are you using so I can code the columns my self

I would like to code to my self or use the short codes…
I am not impressed with the documentation can give me a hint
