Hi,
I was testing my client’s contact form, and it doesn’t send e-mail.
Background infos:
I updated wordpres (4.01), and and Enfold (3.0.4) to the latest version, but it did not help at all.
Hosting is at namecheap.com.
I tested to use different e-mail adress types (company, gmail etc.).
The sender and the company neither has any e-mail from the form.It is strange, because I got an other client with the Enfold theme, hosted by Namecheap where the form is working well.
Do you have any idea?
Zsolt

Be sure to double check your email address and also make sure to check your spam folders and deactivate all plugins while testing.
Other than that it is most likely a problem with the server. Try installing this plugin, https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-smtp/, and send a test email. If it’s not sending with PHP mail then try SMTP and contact your hosting provider for help in configuring the SMTP information.

ElliottMarch 11, 2015 at 3:26 am #409632I am having this same issue and I am afraid that I may have to find an alternative theme even though I have used this for over 10+ clients websites, I just got a call from a client saying that a client of theirs called them and said they got no response after submitting a contact form.
I then tested the contact form to find that emails are not consistently being received.
I have since done multiple tests:
the wordpress version was 3.9.1 and the theme version for 2.8 and there were missing emails
the wordpress version was 3.9.1 and the theme version for 3.0.8 and there were missing emails
ive updated wordpress to 4.1.1 and the theme version for 3.0.8 and there were missing emailsIf my clients can’t reliably receive emails from the contact form then this theme is functionally broken, the contact form is the most important aspect of the website. I anxiously await a solution otherwise I will have to redesign the sites with a new theme all together, and stop referring people to this theme (I like the theme, but this is a serious issue and it looks like it hasn’t been dealt with/fixed for months – search for “contact form broken” or “not working” in the comments section of themeforest).
March 11, 2015 at 5:52 pm #410002Hi!
@lanclet87, As I said this is usually a problem with your server and has nothing to do with the theme. Please keep in mind that our themes are used on thousands of websites which have no issue sending emails. It would be best to contact your hosting provider and let them know about this to see if the mail server is having problems. Also do the troubleshooting steps in my previous post, https://kriesi.at/support/topic/contact-form-does-not-send-e-mails/#post-358605, and let us know of the results.
