Hi,
Great theme, however I am having a bit of difficulty trying to work out how to achieve the following.
I want to create a slightly custom outlay on my page and have managed to achieve the effect I desire by putting a masonry gallery within a color section this allows me to customize my background and layout in the way I want.
I can then place the gallery and color section either within a portfolio item or within a newly added page as both seem to give the desired effect but what I now want to do is present this new content I have created in the form of a slideshow which rotates from one color section containing a masonry gallery to another every few seconds, I don’t mind how exactly I achieve this as long as I can create this effect. Any suggestions?
Many thanks,

Unfortunately that would take a lot of time and code and would have to be considered custom work. The color sections were not designed to be nested inside other elements. You can nest the Masonry inside the layout elements but not inside a slider as there would be too many script incompatibilities.

November 27, 2014 at 6:26 am #358841Ok I understand, would there be any other way of making a masonry gallery automatically slide, the main reason I am placing it inside the color section is to allow me to set a custom background image but if there is another way to achieve this I am open to alternative methods. Any thoughts? Or would the only way to achieve a sliding masonry gallery with custom background image be through the use of a third party plugin or custom code?

November 27, 2014 at 4:19 pm #359048Is there anyway to add a custom background to the content slider?
Also am I even posting in the right forum or should I have posted here? https://kriesi.at/support/forum/enfold/
It seems more lively. If so could you please move my post.
Thanks,

No I don’t think it would be feasible. You can use the content slider inside a color section or if you want to add a background to it then we can do that with some CSS. Send us a link to your page and we’ll take a look.
