Hello, I am having problems switching between the visual editor and text while I am in the Enfold Advanced Editor. So to be clear I am using the Advanced Enfold Editor.
For instants, when I add a Text Box I can’t seem to switch between visual and text. I am simply trying to add a video and see the code. If I happen to add the code. It is invisible and I can’t edit the code for the video.
I also got this message in the lightbox when I tried to add the Code Block. http://screencast.com/t/5LlZAhgx
Please advice,
Seth Riley
November 27, 2014 at 5:34 am #358829Hey sethriley!
you have lot’s of plugins installed. Please deactivate all and have a look which one causes the issue.
Also you might contact your server to increase php memory limit.Cheers!
AndyDecember 1, 2014 at 6:30 pm #360934Hi Andy, after doing what you asked me to do. It appears that the plugin PilotPress is conflicting with the Enfold themes visual editor. I have to use PilotPress because it is part of the OntraPort system that cost our company $300.00 a month. If you could please give me some advice as to what I should do from here I would greatly appreciate it.
FYI, PilotPress is a membership plugin for WordPress that handles restricted content, membership subscriptions, Payment Gateway integration, Email automation and much more. It’s an advanced business solution for small to mid size businesses. (in case you were wondering)
I would really appreciate any help you can give in regards to getting this bug fixed. I also plan on contacting OntraPort about the issue as well to see if they can offer any support for this issue as well.
Kind Regards,
Seth Riley
December 1, 2014 at 6:42 pm #360937Just an update as to what the actual problem is. Here is a screenshot to show you that basically the visual editor is missing. I am still able to add HTML to the code block or the text box. But it is very difficult to do.
HERE IS THE SCREENSHOT: http://screencast.com/t/XtFd6oGz
Please look at this screenshot!!! :)
Thank you,
Seth RileyDecember 1, 2014 at 10:20 pm #361098Hi!
Please contact plugin authors firstly as they should have better insight on what could be causing the issue.
Cheers!
YigitDecember 2, 2014 at 1:55 am #361223Yes of course, no help from anyone.
December 2, 2014 at 2:00 am #361224I mean did you guys even bother to login to the account I created for you and even investigate the problem before you told me to look elsewhere for help?
I mean if money is the issue please let me now as we need this to be working as soon as possible.
For all I know it could be a problem with the theme. And maybe not the plugin? How do you know the problem is on the plugins end and not yours?
December 2, 2014 at 5:54 am #361305Hi!
I’m really not sure what’t the problem but I was able to edit the text block and code block without any issue: https://sixfigureignition.com/test-page/
Best regards,
IsmaelDecember 2, 2014 at 6:41 am #361322Thats great you added the page without a problem!!! I can do that too. Now go back and try to edit that same page you just created and you will see the problem! ;)
December 2, 2014 at 6:46 am #361325Im sorry, I just tried to edit the page you created and it works fine for some reason.
Try editing this page and i’m confident you will see the problem.
Page: Conversion Strategies
PS. its just a video and comment box so don’t worry about editing the page. I can always add stuff back the way it was if anything is removed.
December 2, 2014 at 6:22 pm #361654Hey!
Your getting a javascript error.
TypeError: this.getDoc(...) is undefined ...ody:function(){return this.bodyElement||this.getDoc().body},convertURL:function(...
I would try contacting the plugin authors to see if they have any idea on what could be causing it.
Best regards,
ElliottDecember 2, 2014 at 9:46 pm #361786Thanks for helping me with the error report. So do you also agree that its a problem with Pilotpress?
Thanks guys!
December 3, 2014 at 4:17 pm #362171Hey!
Yes I would contact the plugin authors to see if they have any idea on what it could be. We may be able to pinpoint the problem from their suggestion.

ElliottDecember 16, 2014 at 8:56 pm #369143Ok so after doing some troubleshooting. I deactivated and reactivated all the plugins on my site. I still can’t figure out what plugin is causing the issue. Or maybe its not a plugin? I could really use some help with this. It’s been over a week and the problem is still not fixed. I can’t fix it. And I don’t think it’s a plugin causing the issue. Thats my report, if I am wrong please let me know.
Regards,
Seth Riley
December 16, 2014 at 9:13 pm #369156Another thing to note is when I try to set a custom headline font size the number selector will not display the size I specify. I can only display the font size based off the H1, H2 H3 etc.
December 16, 2014 at 9:45 pm #369179Ok so I finely think I figured out what was causing this issue. I was using the Text Box for inserting my videos into the page. And because I used a Text Box it seemed to cause some serious issues. Such as: unable to save certain elements such as: Full-width buttons. Buttons and Text Box. The WP editor also disappeared from the lightbox view for the Text Box. So after I switched out all the videos with the Code Block everything seemed to work good. I guess I can’t insert Javascript into the Text Box! It worked using the Txt Box thats why I didn’t noticed the problem at first.
December 17, 2014 at 3:35 am #369301Hi!
Glad you figured it out. Regretfully, we cannot provide support for third party plugins or scripts as stated on our support policy due to the fact that there is simply no way to account for all of the potential variables at play when using another developer’s plugin or script. Because of this, any questions you have regarding setup, integration, or troubleshooting any piece of functionality that is not included on the theme package will need to be directed to the plugin author.
Thank you for your understanding.
Cheers!
IsmaelDecember 31, 2014 at 7:36 pm #373671Ismael, If you read my last post you would know that I figured out the problem. ;)
It was simply a problem with me adding javascript to the text box and not adding it to the cod block.
Anyways, glad I figured out the problem!
Thanks
