    Hi,

I turned on sidebar option for one page and expect the side to adopt the same background image I have set for “color section”. But I noticed that the side bar is pushed downward and only appear on the white background.

How do I enable sidebar to be on the same background image as the main page? Or how do I change the sidebar background image to match the main page background?

    Hey kailibuy!

Yes, that is correct behaviour. What you’ll want to do instead is disable the sidebar layout when editing the page and then drag over a 3/5 + 2/5 layout to your color section and then inside the 2/5 try dragging over the widget area element and select which sidebar you wish to display.

    Regards,

yeah, I’ve been using this method. But once you do this, you lose some flexibility in designing page layout. for example, 2/5 is given to whatever you’d put in the sidebar, 3/5 allocated to the main content. but what if I’d like to have two columns for the main content? tried to put two 1/2-boxes in 3/5 section, it wouldn’t allow me.

    Hey!

In that case you can use three 1/3 column elements to add two columns in first two and widget area on the last one or vice versa

    Cheers!

    Hey!

Looks ok for me, but if you show us a mockup, we could maybe help you.

thanks for the reply. yes, I did manage to get it to work the way I intended with compromise. I used 1×1 table for each list under the heading “Neck Pain”, for example. I even used some css codes to get the table to have transparent background and border and allow me to have 50% equal split on the table. On the other hand, it’s cumbersome and hard to use the table to achieve this simple objective.

If I’d like to replace the 2nd column list under Neck Pain, for example, with a picture, I wouldn’t be able to do it. I wish there’s more flexibility in the layout, for example, allow me to put a 1/2 box inside a 2/3 boxes.
