Hi,
All of the sliders stopped working after updating WP to 4.01, this issue is only in Firefox and Safari. I’ve tried the following to solve it:
– Installed Enfold 3.04 (completely removed old theme dir first)
– disabled all plugins (didn’t solve the issue)
– Cleared cache
– Tested on someone else his laptop
– Reinstalled WP 4.01The sliders are working in Chrome.
Cheers,

Did you mean that by doing all those and the sliders will work in Chrome? Thanks !
JasonNovember 24, 2014 at 11:15 am #356648Just updated to latest and works well.
November 24, 2014 at 1:10 pm #356722Reverted to WP 4.0 and sliders are also gone on Chrome. Update to 4.01 and same situation. Sliders not working in any browser.
As this is a customer production site can someone look at this soon?Cheers,
JaapNovember 24, 2014 at 1:12 pm #356724Hey!
Can you please try re-updating the theme via FTP and make sure to overwrite all files – http://vimeo.com/67209750
Cheers!
YigitNovember 24, 2014 at 1:16 pm #356727will this affect the previous theme settings and content?

November 24, 2014 at 2:12 pm #356777Hey!
Can you please try de-activating all active plugins and check if that helps?
Cheers!
YigitNovember 24, 2014 at 2:40 pm #356798I have the same issue, all my sliders are gone. I mean – they are there in the back end, but not showing at the page. Also – instead of “edit slider” the title of the element changed to “edit contact form” ???
Have you found the solution for this? My customers website look really bad without sliders!

One of the first things I’ve tried. Disabled them again but still no go.

JaapNovember 24, 2014 at 3:17 pm #356829http://www.kvarnen.com – there are 3 sliders on the front page that doesn’t work. I just put this one picture temporarily so the space where slider is supposed to appear is filled with some content.
November 26, 2014 at 10:42 am #358205Any updates on this issue? As a workaround I used the easyslider. Layerslider is the only thing not working.
November 26, 2014 at 12:55 pm #358251Sorry I missed the update info at the top. Now it works fine. Thank you!

November 28, 2014 at 7:04 am #359415Hi!
miskostanisic: Thanks for helping out! :)
@Jaap de Wit: I tried to deactivate all plugins and the layer slider (http://webshoppr.nl/test-page/) started working again. Please deactivate the plugins again one at a time to find the culprit. Did you migrate or transfer the website? The layer slider examples are all blanks. Theme options and configurations including the layer slider are saved on the database and it is quite important that you keep the database intact when transferring the site. In order to do that, we usually recommend the WP Migrate DB plugin.
Please refer to these links for more info on how to properly migrate your Enfold website from production to development and vice versa:
