Hi, I’ve just transferred the website from a sub-directory on another domain across to the live domain and now the Partner/Logo Element at the bottom of the Home Page isn’t displaying on the front end – not sure why … ?
Thank you!

Thank you for visiting the support forum!
Theme options and configurations are saved on the database and it is quite important that you keep the database intact when transferring the site. In order to that, we usually recommend the WP Migrate DB plugin.
Please refer to these links for more info on how to properly migrate your Enfold website from production to development and vice versa:

IsmaelNovember 25, 2014 at 12:11 pm #357471Hi – I appreciate that the Theme options and configuration are stored in the database and when I migrate the website over, all was fine. The problem I have is when I update the Enfold Theme. As soon as the Enfold Theme updates, all the settings that I had saved – logo, colours, backgrounds etc. are lost. I’m sure that shouldn’t happen – I’m sure it’s something that I’m doing wrong but no idea what! If I’ve migrated the database correctly and looks fine, why should settings be wiped out when I upgrade the Enfold Theme?
Thanks.

YigitNovember 26, 2014 at 12:39 pm #358245Hi – so if I do as you suggest above then that will restore my Enfold Theme settings?
I’ve got two websites in development that have both automatically updated to WordPress 4.0.1 and now a couple of things aren’t working – is it possible I could just upload individual files to each site rather than update the entire Enfold Theme? I could update the whole Theme when I actually upload them to the live site.
The first site is http://www.littlefoxwebdesignbuilds.co.uk/gayseymaisey – the slider on the Home Page has stopped displaying the images.
The second site is http://www.littlefoxwebdesignbuilds.co.uk/steedmedia – the Google Map has disappeared from the last section – Contact.Could you tell me which file from the latest version of Enfold I would need to upload to get these two things working again please?
Many thanks.

November 28, 2014 at 12:59 am #359296Hey Kathryn!
More than 34 files in different folders were changed, i’d suggest downgrading the WordPress installs instead, you can download WordPress 4.0 here – http://wordpress.org/wordpress-4.0.zip
Also make sure to disable WP auto-updates too:

JosueDecember 1, 2014 at 3:09 pm #360774Hi – thanks for this – it worked brilliantly and was definitely the best option for me at the moment. Could you just help me with a bit of custom CSS please?
For the sub-menu, I’ve set it to have a dark background with white font colour on hover using the Advanced Styling tab, but I’d like the font colour to remain white at all times i.e. as soon as the drop-down menu appears even if somebody doesn’t hover over the sub-menu link – how can I do that?
Thank you!

December 1, 2014 at 3:10 pm #360775Sorry – should have said it’s for this website here: http://www.urban-wildlife.co.uk
Thanks.
December 1, 2014 at 10:22 pm #361099Hey!
You can keep adding CSS declarations in the Dashboard > Enfold > Advanced Styling area. Add two rules and set one to apply on hover and the other as the default.
Cheers!
ElliottDecember 1, 2014 at 11:06 pm #361137Oh! Okay – I didn’t realise that! Thanks that’s great – I’ve done it and it’s worked perfectly. One last thing, could you advise me on the best way to do this/recommend any plugins to use:
My client wants 1) a forum 2) a member area for the website where members can access certain pages to download pdf’s etc. I’ve downloaded and installed bbpress for the forum which looks great and has it’s own login widget but not sure how to set up a members only area/what plugin to use? Presumably that will need a separate log in … ?
Thank you!

December 2, 2014 at 4:16 pm #361491Hi!
You can try using this plugin – https://wordpress.org/plugins/members/ or this one – https://wordpress.org/plugins/bbpress-members-only/
Best regards,
