I just updated WordPress to version 3.9.3. After the update the fullscreen slider on the homepage is not being displayed. Also the special heading blocks are causing some problems, meaning that the blocks are shown, but the text in it is missing. Instead of the text there supposed to be, some code is displayed (<’h5′ class=’av-special-heading-tag’ itemprop=”headline” >’).
Even after updating Enfold to the latest version the problems still exist. What can I do?

November 21, 2014 at 3:05 pm #355191Hi!
Please try re-updating the theme via FTP – http://vimeo.com/67209750
P.S.: WordPress 4.0.1 is not available and is fully compatible with Enfold 3.0.4Regards,
YigitNovember 21, 2014 at 3:35 pm #355212So, I updated the theme once again. This time via FTP. Nothing seems to has happened? Do I have to do anything else?
November 21, 2014 at 8:03 pm #355498hello
i have the same problem with special heading blocks :
i put some html tags () into the special heading blocks. And it don’t display the title but only the code :
<div style="padding-bottom:’10′px;font-size:’54′px;" class="av-special-heading av-special-heading-’h1′ » ’blockquote avia-builder-el-0 el_before_av_textblock avia-builder-el-first av-inherit-size"><’h1′ class='av-special-heading-tag' itemprop="headline" >’<em>Compétences</em><!--’h1′--><div class="special-heading-border"><div class="special-heading-inner-border"></div></div></div>
i didn’t update neither wordpress or enfold. But i presume it may happen with the new wordpress 4.1…
What do you think ?November 22, 2014 at 12:16 am #355714Hi!
@fraktale911, The special heading tags are actual headings, H1, H2, H3, etc etc, so you should not place HTML inside. Let us know exactly what your trying to do and we’ll be able to offer an alternative.
@Schuns, Your getting a weird javascript error. Make sure all plugins are deactivated and then try deleting the slider element and recreate it. If your still having problems then send us a WordPress login and we’ll take a closer look.Regards,
ElliottNovember 22, 2014 at 2:42 am #355754i use
<em></em>
code in order to add color with my title with css. I use this “trick” six month ago and it perfectly worked. So i just want to know why it doesn’t work anymore.i don’t want an alternative. i want this bug resolve… !!! And I don’t want to upgrade wordpress and enfold…
thanks
November 22, 2014 at 1:35 pm #355874I just deactivated all plugins, deleted the full screen slider and recreated a new one: still having the same problem. Slider not being displayed and still the weird code text in the special header elements. Turns out that you can’t use HTML tags in the text area in the slider… After deleting the HTML tags, the slider was being displayed again…

November 24, 2014 at 4:29 pm #356920Hey!
@fraktale911, You can do this, http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/turn-on-custom-css-field-for-all-alb-elements/, to add a custom class to your elements and then use CSS to change it’s size..your_class, .your_class h3 { font-size: 30px !important; }
@Schuns, If you want to use HTML then make sure to add it to the “HTML / Video / Audio” tab instead of the text tab.Best regards,
ElliottNovember 24, 2014 at 5:13 pm #356955thanks Elliot, but i only want to modify only half of the title. So i put my
<em></em>
tag.
For instance :
title in black <em>title in color</em>
I find the files that make the bug : formatting.php
Si i kept the old file and my<em></em>
trick works again.I would ask for another question : How kriesi can avoid this kind of bug due to wordpress ? Is there a way to prevent this ?
thanks
