custom post type like type "page" in enfold theme - Support

Hi, I like create a new “custom post type” “location” for add all my new location in my web (over 3000 locations).
I like this new “custom post type” called “location” have the same features as type “page”.

With “page” type I can use the avia editor, I can define propertys of enfold (sidebar, header, breadcrumbs, etc).

Can you say me how to make this?

Hi Elliot, perfect, your modification runs ok, great support!!.
The entries with custom type “directorio” runs perfect.
By example: http://artistandbeer.com/directorio/prueba –> OK

Another thing…..

With http://artistandbeer.com/directorio/ appear one page very similar to “blog”.
Is possible to have one custom page in http://artistandbeer.com/directorio or return a 404 error?

I have created a comment in backend for normal post and appear.

But I have created a comment in backend for custom post and not appear.

Can you help me?

Do you know some plugin powerful for add comments to post, pages, custom types and trully compatible with enfold?

Hi!

1. I’m sorry but I’m not sure I understand. Can you take some screenshots and highlight what your trying to do?

2. When you created your custom post type are you sure you added comments to the supports option? http://codex.wordpress.org/Function_Reference/register_post_type

You can drag our comments element from the advanced layout builder to your post content to display comments and the comment form.

1. I create this page http://artistandbeer.com/directorio/prueba. That’s ok.
but I don’t create the page http://artistandbeer.com/directorio/

I want this page not appear, is possible?

Hey!

I’m sorry but I’m still having trouble understanding. You have setup this page, http://artistandbeer.com/directorio/, and you have used the blog posts shortcode inside it to display your custom post types but your saying you do not want to display this page?
