Length excerpt difference for logged in user and guest?

I’m sorry for opening a new topic for what is actually the same question as I had yesterday about increasing the length of the excerpts. Yigit pointed me to the solution with the code I had to add to functions.php in the Child Theme and that worked fine. I could increase the lenght of the excerpts and I was totally satisfied.

This morning however I looked at the specific page on my website and saw that the excerpts still had the same small amount of characters as before I added the code to functions.php :-( I checked and the code was still present in functions.php and when I checked the page on my website I saw to my surprise that the excerpts were longer. Then I realised that I can see the longer excerpts only whem I am logged in as a user. When I am not logged in and view my website as a guest I can’t see the lengthened excerpts and can see only the standard short excerpts.

What tot do for showing the lengtened excerpts for guests as well?
