Hi there, :)

I should very glad if you helped me with the following:

1. How can I replace the word “portfolio-item” by another expression, for instance einzelne-leistungen:

http://kosmetikstudio-godesberg.de/portfolio-item/wellnessmassagen/

2. (only if possible – as an extra to answer to no. 1)

I have a subpage

http://kosmetikstudio-godesberg.de/leistungen

where I introduce the services of my client (Leistungen means services). On this page I have got a “Portfolio-Raster”. If I click on one of the portfolio-items – for instance “wellnessmassagen” I would like the above link look like that:

http://kosmetikstudio-godesberg.de/leistungen/wellnessmassagen/

and not like that

http://kosmetikstudio-godesberg.de/portfolio-item/wellnessmassagen/

I should be glad for your help.

Hi Sigrid!

1. You can change this in Dashboard > Settings > Permalinks. There is an option near the bottom for changing the portfolio items base.

2. I’m not sure if this is possible. If you remove the slug from the URL then wordpress will think it’s a child page of “leistungen”. You can try it (same section as question #1) but I think you will get 404 errors.
