November 8, 2014 at 3:57 am #348057Hi slewman!
Thank you for using the theme!
I’m sorry but you’re using an old version of the theme, 2.9.2. Please download the latest version 3.0.2 from your themeforest account then update the theme via FTP. Please refer to this link for more info: http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/updating-your-theme-files/

IsmaelNovember 8, 2014 at 4:11 am #348061Thanks for the reply but I would like to get an actual fix not an upgrade.
As it stand im not sure i want to use this theme if it does not properly support child css
November 8, 2014 at 7:51 am #348093I wonder how long until this issue is seriously looked at for me? To be honest the time delay in answering questions is pretty frustrating. Especially if the answer is “upgrade” which is not even addressing the issue.
No offense Ismail, but if you can’t help me can you please pass me on to someone who can.
As it stands I’m having to use and modify the parent theme to get around the problem. If I update, guess what
goodbye all my changes.November 9, 2014 at 9:57 pm #348459Hi!
When you update you won’t loose any changes you made in custom.css. Lots of changes were made in Enfold 3.0.2, so please follow Ismael’s instructions. I think it will help for you.
Make sure to have a backup.Best regards,
AndyNovember 9, 2014 at 10:01 pm #348463Hey!
We normally ask that because we have the latest version in our environments, anyways seems you are using the parent theme now, let us know when you switch to the child theme so we can troubleshoot the original problem.
Best regards,
JosueNovember 9, 2014 at 11:33 pm #348520Ok, I have updated to the latest version.
I’ve temporarily activated the child theme again. If you could look at it quickly I’d appreciate it slows the site down due to the child css problems described above.cheers

The child theme CSS error is not caused by the theme but by a third-party plugin, i disabled all plugins for a moment and the error was gone. I’d suggest disabling one by one until you find the one causing the error.
Cheers!
JosueNovember 10, 2014 at 4:57 am #348645Thanks for looking at this, but the problem certainly is with the child css path from the enfold theme
I have disabled all plugs one by one – problem remains with child theme path
I have re-enabled all plugins and switched to parent theme and there is no error
I use the same plugin set for my other 5 wordpress sites, all using child theme setups with no problem.
IF you run the tests it’s quite obvious to see the child css link being given by enfold is this
http://www.poshelp.com.au/wp-content/themes/enfold-child/..enfold/style.css“/..enfold” this is bring added to the child path.
November 10, 2014 at 6:11 am #348653Hi!
Yeah it’s a bit strange, seems the error only appears on first load (at least for me), however the style.css is correctly being included – http://screencast.com/t/lCgQlGviq0Om
Also, i made a speed test with child/parent theme activated and the results were pretty similar (the child theme loaded faster actually): http://screencast.com/t/epIp3fidR4g
Cheers!
