Hi, I’m using a style that puts the menu on the left sidebar so I can’t use any full screen widgets on the page but I want to be able to point to a section ID on the page and can’t figure out how to do that without a color section. Masonry gallery has the section ID built in inside the settings but if I want to add a video slider it doesn’t have the section ID option in the settings. How can I add that?

As you can see on this page – http://photobek.staging.wpengine.com/ (hosted on WPengine) – if you scroll down you see the video slider that I would like to link to.

Also, what if I want to use a color section so I will be able to have a different color for an entire section in such a design? If I can’t use a color section since that only takes full width what can I do to achieve that?

    Hi!

    Thank you for using Enfold.

You can still use the Color Section element. It won’t go fullwidth if you’re using the left sidebar as menu.

Seems like that does work even thought it didn’t when I tried it before. But there are still issues as you can see here – http://screencast.com/t/6NJN49GzH – for some reason the socket is showing not as it should.

Also, how can I make the video stretch full width?

    Hi!

how do you want the socket to look like? As we can’t know what you want, please send us a screenshot/mockup/explanation of what you want to achieve.

Belonging to full width video: Do you want the video to overlap your sidebar?
In Avia Layout Builder you can edit the video and when scrolling down you can choose the video format. You can go for custom size and choose whatever you want.

    Best regards,
    Andy

Hi, I want it to look as it is now – just scroll all the way down to the bottom of the page. All that is missing is the option to add a section ID to that video. How can I do that without changing how it looks?

    Hey!

You can use this css id selector for the video: #fullscreen_slider_0

Or insert a color section on top of it then set the height and min-height to 1px.

    Best regards,
    Ismael
