Title text rather than logo for v.3.0.2

Hello everyone,

I had version 2.9.2 and had edited the original functions.php (I had no child theme) according to https://kriesi.at/support/topic/title-text-rather-than-logo/ and that worked just fine

Started from scratch with version 3.0.2 and a child theme and the same code works, but causes the main menu to disappear.

Would you be able to help me?
