    Hi

Is there any way to add a location on the googlemap by Longitude and Latitude instead of address?
I can’t find specific address because the location I want to add is on the beach.

    Thank you.

    Hi greentea05!

Make sure your using the latest version of Enfold and then when you insert the Google map it will ask for an address which you can enter some dummy information and press “Enter address, then fetch coordinates”. That will then display longitude and latitude fields which you can then insert your own information. Once you have added it and inserted the google map shortcode it should look something like this,

    [av_google_map height='400px' zoom='16' saturation='' hue='' zoom_control='aviaTBzoom_control']
    [av_gmap_location long='-92.1823459' lat='58.23871' marker='' imagesize='40']
    Test
    [/av_gmap_location]
    [/av_google_map]

    Cheers!

    Hi Elliott

    Thank you for your reply.
I entered longitude and latitude after click “Enter address, then fetch coordinates” and click save button, but map isn’t shown on the page.
It is blank at googlemap area. I can see only the location pin.
I’m using Version 3.0.2 of Enfold.

    Thank you

    Hey!

It seems to be working fine on my XAMPP setup. Send us a link and paste the code your using here and we’ll take a look. Make sure to delete the address options in the shortcode so it looks like so,

    [av_google_map height='400px' zoom='16' saturation='' hue='' zoom_control='aviaTBzoom_control']
    [av_gmap_location long='-92.1823459' lat='58.23871' marker='' imagesize='40']
    Test
    [/av_gmap_location]
    [/av_google_map]

    Regards,
    Elliott

    Hi Elliott,

Here is the link I tested.
    http://surforest.net/wordmap/chiba-north/yoshizaki/

I deleted the address like this.

    [av_google_map height='400px' zoom='13' saturation='' hue='' zoom_control='aviaTBzoom_control' pan_control='aviaTBpan_control' mobile_drag_control='aviaTBmobile_drag_control']
    [av_gmap_location long='35.670641' lat='140.622130' marker='' imagesize='20']
    吉崎
    [/av_gmap_location]

    [/av_google_map]

    Thank you.

    Hey!

Not sure why it’s working for some coordinates and not others. For some coordinates it would only return this for the images, https://maps.gstatic.com/mapfiles/transparent.png.

I tested this plugin out, http://www.wpgmaps.com/, and your coordinates seem to work fine in it.

I’ll flag this for the rest of our team to see if they have any idea on what it could be.

    Regards,
    Elliott

    Hi Elliot,

Did you get any idea for this issue?
I tested some map plugin and they worked fine on my site, but using your shortcode is better for my site to manage maps because l will make hundreds of maps and insert it on each page.
I hope you find a way to solve it.

    Thank you,
    Tomo

    Hi

    I’m sorry about that.
Server denied access from overseas IP to WordPress admin.
Now I changed setting. Please try it again.

    Thank you.

    Hey!

I’ll ask Kriesi to take a look. Not sure why the specific coordinates (long=’35.670641′ lat=’140.622130′) is not working. Please wait for his response.

    Cheers!

Did this ever get resolved? I am having the same problem. My map is not showing at all.

    #355832

    Hey!

Can you please provide a link to the actual page? Did you use coordinates as well? Make sure that you’re running Enfold 3.0.4 on WordPress 4.0.1.

    Cheers!
    Ismael
