Problem with media queries

Hi guys,

I’ve started working on a new website and have encountered a problem which I’ve never seen before. Media queries just aren’t working, so I can’t make the site responsive. The media queries are in my child theme’s style.css (which has worked on every single website I’ve used with Enfold – up until the 3.0 update – not that I think that is the issue but this is the first site I’ve designed using 3.0).

It is worth noting that there are media queries already in layout.css – this shouldn’t affect my new ones right?
