Hi,
I’m dumb. I built most of my website without a Child Theme and now notice that there is an update. Obviously, I need to have a Child Theme so that I don’t lose any settings. But here is my question: is there an easy way to create a Child Theme after lots of customization?
Is there some CSS/Settings code that I can paste into the Child Theme so that I can import all the settings I worked so hard on? Thanks, and sorry for not reading the directions before building my theme. :D
Hey Quinner100!
Please see – http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/using-a-child-theme/ and also – http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/add-new-or-replace-advanced-layout-builder-elements-from-child-theme/
You can simply move your modified files to your child theme. Please firstly create testing environment
