    I have upgraded to Enfold V3.0.2 and I now have icons appearing in Chinese. I have already put into my .htaccess file the coding:-
    <FilesMatch “\.(ttf|otf|woff)$”>
    <IfModule mod_headers.c>
    Header set Access-Control-Allow-Origin: http://harefieldchurch.org
    </IfModule>
    </FilesMatch>
    But has not improved the situation. I have reloaded the Enfold 3.0.2 files a couple of times by FTP but not solved it.
    Any ideas?

    I have also turned off my plugins which has not helped.

    I have cleared the cache and this seems to be only a problem with IE. Seems OK on Google Chrome, Android tablet and Apple

    Hey!

    Thank you for using Enfold.

    Please try to replace the htaccess code with this:

    <FilesMatch "\.(ttf|otf|woff)$">
    <IfModule mod_headers.c>
            Header set Access-Control-Allow-Origin "*"
    </IfModule>
    </FilesMatch>

    Best regards,
    Ismael

    Hi!

    Do you mind creating a temporary admin login and posting it here privately?

    Best regards,

    Hi!

    There are two enfold themes. Please remove the other enfold folder. Deactivate the plugins then test it on another browser.

    I have deleted my old copy of Enfold. I have deactivated every plugin.
    I then tried the website in Microsoft IE and Google Chrome and the same problem exists in that icons are appearing as either a ‘Chinese-looking’ character or nothing at all.

    I should also point out that social media icons are also not showing. I have had to remove them from the header as it was just showing a blank space where they should have been.

    Hey!

    Still not sure why the icons are not working. Is it OK if we deactivate the plugins while working on the site? Please post the FTP details here. We would like to check the files.

    Cheers!

    I have taken a fresh download of the Enfold theme from Themeforest and installed the zip file via WordPress themes upload and activated it. This has sorted the problem. I can see all the icons!

    Hi!

    Woah! Glad the magic update works. Maybe some of the files doesn’t get through properly. :)

    Best regards,
    Ismael
