Hello,
I was doing some tests and I found that my website significantly speeds up if I disable woocommerce. It seems to be causing admin-ajax.php to load very slowly. Sometimes this adds nearly 3 seconds to a page that will load in 1 second without woocommerce.
I am fine with my woocommerce store pages loading slowly, but it slows down my homepage, blog, and all other non-store pages. It looks like the demos are working fine with woocommerce.
Is there anything I can do to resolve this? I have the latest version of enfold and I am on woocommerce 2.2.6 (latest).
Thanks for your help,
JaredOctober 20, 2014 at 8:23 pm #338613I think I have the same problem. I just increased my php.ini memory significantly to see if that make a difference.
October 22, 2014 at 6:01 pm #339614Hi Jared!
I’d also suggest increasing the memory limit, your current limit is 128M and your site is using 73M at peak, try increasing it to at least 256M:

November 1, 2014 at 5:21 pm #344629Hey!
please try to deactivate all other plugins but woocommerce. Have a look if the page’s speed gets better. If yes activate all plugins one by one to notice which could cause the issue.

November 1, 2014 at 7:21 pm #344695would it be possible to create a subdomain with enfold installed specifically to hold my store.
if i created store.jaredburnettphoto.com and only had woocommerce installed there would it work?
Also would I have to buy the theme again? I’m just slightly confused about how it would all work.
November 3, 2014 at 8:20 pm #345492Hey!
Yes that’s possible, regarding license i don’t think you’d need buy another one as the ‘store’ would be essentially part of a single product (http://themeforest.net/licenses/standard).
Cheers!
