Special heading colour won't change

Hello,

I am unable to change the Special Heading colour to anything other than default using 3.0.1. I do not want to apply a fixed specification for the colour of special headings (even across the one page) as I have been using different ones depending on the background but if that has to be the way it is until the next upgrade, it will be better than nothing. I’d like to be able to have special headings in white (both the main heading and the subhead).
