    Hi there,

me again. On my website http://www.thornerstrasse.de, I am unable to save any settings to my child theme. I already disabled all plugins, no success. I also updated to 3.0.1 without any change.

Any idea what i could do?

    Best regards,
    Stefan

    Hi Stefan!

    Please make sure that wp-content/uploads folder has correct permissions ( 755 ) – http://codex.wordpress.org/Changing_File_Permissions
You can also contact your service provider and ask if there is some kind of server side caching

    Cheers!

    Hi Yigit,

Thank you for your reply. I forgot to mention that I have checked permissions. All were set to 755.

I doubt that there is some server side caching, because the migration of the site (from test to live, done with UpdraftPlus) worked on a second site seamlessly.

Do you have any other ideas? Thank you for your help, mate!

    Best regards,
    Stefan

    Hey!

Do you mind creating a temporary admin login and posting it here privately so we can look into it?

    Best regards,
    Yigit

    Hi!

There’s still a (Forbidden) error related to enfold_child.css file. Did you set the correct file permission on the wp-content and folders inside it? Maybe try setting it to 777 for testing purposes. See if that changes anything.

    Regards,
    Ismael

    Hi Ismael,

Thank you for your suggestion! I have successfully changed all permissions in wp-content to 777 – without any influence to the problem. The message I receive still asks me to reload the page.

    Regards,
    Stefan

    Hi Ismael,

After your latest feedback I have again talked to my provider. They – again – updated permissions and chmods. And, believe or not, now it works. So please regard this case as closed.

THANK YOU VERY MUCH for your patience and your support!

    Best regards,
    Stefan
