    Hi generatrorassociates!

    Thank you for using Enfold.

    Please adjust the Maximum Container width on Enfold > General Layout > Dimensions panel.

    Regards,
    Ismael

    Hi Ismael,

    Many thanks for this – I have done this – even making it 3500 instead of the 1350 px it was – but its doing nothing – not even a bit???

    Thanks

    Hi!

    That should fix the issue. Anyway, try adding this on Quick CSS or custom.css:

    .container {
    max-width: 1200px;
    }

    Regards,
    Ismael

    Hi!

    I would like to check the website but it’s not using the Enfold theme. Did you activate the twentyfourteen theme?

    Cheers!

    HI

    I was updating the enfold theme with the latest update yesterday and it said stylesheet was missing. So I did it through ftp instead but then the whole site crashed – I couldn’t even log in to the site.

    I ended up ringing the hosting company who logged on somehow and he was not sure if it was theme related or plugins – so he disabled all the plugins and changed the theme to another one – he also uploaded another wordpress page he said as though one of mine could be corrupt.

    I can now log in – and have changed it back to enfold – so you should be able to see now :)

    Is it right that each time there is an enfold update I have to put my custom widgets back in the place they were before – I had them all set before, then did the update (all be it there were issues as above). ?

    Thanks

    Hi

    Think I’ve sorted the log in issues etc so enfold is up and running now for you to log in and confirm etc.

    Thanks

    Hi!

    Thank you for the update.

    Please post the error log on pastebin.com if you got it. Thousands of users are using Enfold and this issue could have been reported a hundred times by now if there’s anything unusual with the theme code. If you want to optimize the website, you can do the following.

    1. Optimize all images with AI/Photoshop or any image editor before uploading to server. Save as web safe’ jpg.
    2. Once all images are on the website optimize with EWWW Optimizer plugin twice 1hr 10mins apart.
    3. Install WP-Smushit to clean the media director. Run once to remove jpeg extra data, then uninstall.
    4. Use BWP Minify plugin to minify scripts and stylesheets.
    5. Install WP-Super cache then select all recommended settings.
    6. Logout your website, visit every page at least once to create super cache files.
    7. Join Cloudflare the setup your website on their CDN, Choose options: Full CDN Optimisation save then activate purge files. Once done, you can log out.
    8. Remove unnecessary plugins and extensions.
    9. Have a cup of coffee or eat some donuts.
    10. Visit your site after 20 minutes or so.
    11. Don’t forget to smile.

    Go to wp-content > uploads > dynamic_avia folder. Delete the enfold.css file then toggle any theme options. Save changes. Check the page: http://www.generatorservicing.com/servicesolutions/

    Best regards,

    Hey!

    Thank you for the update.

    I checked the site and it loads fine every time I refresh the page. Yes, adjusting the container width fixed the table too. From what I remember, we deleted a custom css code that overrides the max width of the container.

    Cheers!
    Ismael
