Hello to the team !
What a great 3.0 release: definitely worth the wait ! :D
I was especially pleased to see the new element “Fullwidth (sticky) submenu”. I have a weird issue though : I created a new menu, went to my “About” page, added the submenu element and selected my new menu in the element edit window. The menu appears fine and is working great… but it’s always another menu that shows up and not the one I selected. Actually, it’s either my main menu or my socket menu.
Unfortunately, I didn’t deploy 3.0 on my live site yet, so I can’t give you a url for checking. Could you see if you can reproduce this issue please ? Or maybe someone else has the same issue ?
Thanks in advance !
Fred

October 5, 2014 at 8:22 am #330399Hi!
I couldn’t reproduce this on my local 3.0 install. We’d need to check the actual site with the issue, if you decide to upgrade or install a staging environment with 3.0 let us know.
Cheers!

Ok, I updated and added a submenu on this page : http://agi.to/a-propos/. Right now, the submenu is showing my “Footer menu” (it’s the name I gave but it is situated in the socket to be exact) but I selected another menu in the element options.
Hope this will help.

JosueOctober 6, 2014 at 9:41 am #330745I have the same problem. I have created a new menu and a new page but it seems to default the first menu item on the list which is ‘Footer’.
I therefore created a new menu called ‘About’ which put this at the top of the list. I updated the page with this new menu and it now worked OKOctober 6, 2014 at 9:57 am #330748Thanks biwales ! Makes sense now. ;) Until this is fixed that’s a good trick to know… as long as I have only one page with a submenu, which is not the case. ^^;
