Hello Team Kriesi,
thanks for that great update. Unfortunately, I experienced some problems with the new version of the theme:
1. Update to 3.0 changes WPML link to original homepage
I am using WPML and everything worked fine with v2.9.2. After the update, however, I noticed that the WPML link that directs from my translated homepage to the original homepage has changed. It is now pointing to the address of my wordpress installation instead to the url of the original homepage. So it changed from xyz.com to xyz.com/wordpress. Could you tell me how to repair this? Here is the link to the site: http://bit.ly/1nQxpwh
The wrong link is in the upper right corner (saying “Deutsch”).WPML is my only plugin and everything is up to date!
Thank you for your help and best regards,
Dominic

Your site http://bit.ly/1nQxpwh does not seem to work. By visiting it I see “Error 503”.
To inspect the issue with WPML we need admin access.Best regards,
AndyP.s: Thank you very much for the compliment!

IsmaelOctober 14, 2014 at 10:21 pm #335780Hi,
I checked the login credentials before I posted them and checked them again. They worked all the time and are definetly correct. I don’t know why you cannot login. Maybe a firewall problem, or something? Anyway, I changed the password and hope that it will work for you now. Please try again to login (maybe 2-3 times if it doesn’t work at the first time).
Thank you and best regards
Dominic
October 20, 2014 at 12:16 am #338053Hi Team Kriesi,
thank you for your help. I don’t know what you did, but the initial problem seems to be solved. Now the link on my translated English homepage correctly directs to the original homepage in German.
However, your solution has produced a new problem. Now the links on all other translated English pages that should direct to the translated English homepage (click on the English logo) are wrong. Insteadt of directing to the translated English homepage they now direct to the original German homepage.
Any solution to that?
Thank you and best regards
Dominic
October 21, 2014 at 3:20 pm #339023Hello,
when I checked my webpage I realized that it was modified again. Unfortunately the modification made it worse. Right now there are two problems: the old problem is back alongside with the new problem that was a result of your modifications. Could you either solve them both or if this is not possible revert your changes to the state before you started to intervene.
Furthermore, it would be nice if you could let me know which files you modified.
Thank you and best regards
Dominic

you did not respond to my last replies. So does it mean that you are not dealing with this issue anymore? It would be nice to let me know what’s going on!
Thank you and best regards
Dominic
