September 25, 2014 at 8:23 pm #325241Same problem here. No emails are sent after completing the contact form – neither to the adminstrator nor to the one who sent the form. I checked the spam and found nothing.
September 25, 2014 at 9:25 pm #325276Hey!
Please set-up a test form with this plugin to discard if the issue is coming from the theme or not.

JosueSeptember 26, 2014 at 9:08 am #325450Hey Josue,
Thanks for your quick response. Contact form 7 doesn’t work either. However, in a different way. It stops one step earlier.
The theme form on the website: http://offene-religionspolitik.de/wer-wir-sind/werde-mitglied/
Contact form 7 on the website: http://offene-religionspolitik.de/sandkasten/September 29, 2014 at 5:33 am #326289Hey!
Please try the following: attempt to reset your password here and check if you receive the mail, that will discard if your server is able to send mails or not.
Regards,
JosueSeptember 29, 2014 at 8:50 am #326370I got this error message:
Fatal error: Maximum execution time of 30 seconds exceeded in /www/htdocs/w00cdc83/wp-includes/class-phpmailer.php on line 879
September 29, 2014 at 1:36 pm #326513Hi!
Please add following line to .htaccess file
php_value max_execution_time 60
or following to php.ini file
max_execution_time = 60 ;
You can contact your service provider and they can help you as well
Regards,
YigitSeptember 29, 2014 at 8:53 pm #326803Thanks. I tried this but it didn’t help. I called my service provider and he changed something. Now contact form 7 works but not the build-in form.
September 29, 2014 at 8:55 pm #326804PS: He set the maximum execution time to 100. And resetting the password works fine, too.
September 29, 2014 at 9:36 pm #326822Hi,

September 30, 2014 at 12:02 am #326880Hi @rjflaherty!
Did you try discarding via CF7 or password reset to see if your server can send emails?

JosueSeptember 30, 2014 at 7:25 am #327048This reply has been marked as private.September 30, 2014 at 10:11 am #327095I had a similar problem the other day.
Are the email addresses using the same domain as the website?
and
Are emails hosted somewhere different from the website? If so this link may point you in the right direction.

September 30, 2014 at 6:38 pm #327504Hey @orp!
I made a test form here (with my address avia.josue at gmail.com) and it worked fine – http://screencast.com/t/f3Vvwxtj
Best regards,
JosueOctober 3, 2014 at 10:24 am #329581Thank you, Josue. Do you have any idea why the larger contact form (http://offene-religionspolitik.de/wer-wir-sind/werde-mitglied/) is not working? Are there too many entries? Too many check boxes? I will try and configure a second form exactly like that one. However, that will take some time.
October 3, 2014 at 6:28 pm #329833October 4, 2014 at 9:11 am #330136Hey Josue,
Thank you. Changed to one single address but the form is still not working.

SvenOctober 7, 2014 at 4:35 am #331340Hi @orp!
I’ve just tested the larger contact form (http://offene-religionspolitik.de/wer-wir-sind/werde-mitglied/) and it worked fine.
Could you please test the form again and let us know if if we can consider this issue as resolved.Cheers!
ArvishOctober 7, 2014 at 7:43 am #331391Hey Arvish,
Thank you. We are now getting closer to the problem. I never tested a fully filled form. That works indeed. However, as soon as the nonobligatory fields are left blank, the form does not send an email. The confirmation on the site doesn’t show up either. I think that is not as supposed to be.

SvenOctober 9, 2014 at 3:40 am #332854Hey Sven!
I tried to reproduce exactly that but the message did go through – http://screencast.com/t/XdNdCNlZy
Cheers!
JosueOctober 10, 2014 at 2:06 pm #333833Hey Josue,
I made a new contact form. Everything worked fine till I implemented the 25th element. It was the second element that had the same name as another element. I changed its name and than it worked. I’m still convinced there is some bug in it but at least it works for me now.
Best
