Hi,
We are having troubles with our wordpress site after updating to version 4.0
We also got the last update for Enfold theme (that we are using), but there are several problems.
For example we can’t add links for text, we can’t see the advanced layout editor, (we click on related buttons and nothing happens), content elements don’t work etc.
You had a changelog that the theme is working with WordPress 4.0 and so we updated wordpress, but now we find ourself in real trouble as we can’t manage our website content anymore. Please let us know when you can fix this as we are in urgent need to work on content.

Can you please post the link to your website please? Have you tried de-activating all active plugins and check if that helps?

JosueSeptember 23, 2014 at 11:25 am #323585Having some issues with updating to 2.9.2 as well.
After upgrading the theme to 2.9.2. on a WP 4.0 website, I got the dreaded ‘maintenance page’.
Going into FTP, my theme folder was completely empty, and the theme was stuck in the ‘update’ folder.I had to manually move the files of the new theme from update to the enfold folder to get the site back up. But now in the dashboard, it complains about a update gone wrong. I checked the web for solutions, but there are no .maintenance files, I deleted the ‘update’ folder and checked the WP install.
Is there some hidden file I have to delete to get rid of the error message in the Dashboard??cheers for any tips, as this makes me very nervous……
