I have just made 2 sites using Enfold. They display correctly on my PC’s iPhone, iPad, Samsung phone running Android 4.0.4 but not on Samsung tablets running Android 4.0.3 and 3.2. With the sites on the Samsung tablets, the header section is white. I know there is a logo and menu there so I can fumble around and guess where the menu is to access the other pages. But the public wouldn’t know this. How do I fix the problem?

I don’t have a 4.0.3/3.2 device to test, can you please check if the issue persists here?
Best regards,

Yes still the same problem with your link. Can’t see the logo, links or anything in the header.
September 14, 2014 at 6:11 am #318778Hey!
Are you testing this on the device’s stock browser? Please try to install Chrome then check the site again.
Cheers!
IsmaelSeptember 14, 2014 at 6:24 am #318782Can’t install Chrome on Samsung Galaxy tab 10.1, device doesn’t support it. I’m just worried that there are clients out there that are having the same problem. We can’t seem to update the original Samsung tablets. Don’t know if it’s a problem with other brands or not.

As far as I know Chrome should come installed or if not be available from the play stor. The “browser” app shifts in what it has support for as far as web standards go depending on when you bought and what current version its at.
We’ll see if we can get something to test on but in general Google is trying to strongly push the market to use Chrome as its the replacement browser for all others on android devices.

DevinSeptember 14, 2014 at 7:40 am #318805Thanks everyone. I suppose I should have read the specifications for compatible browsers a bit better. Definitely can’t install Chrome on my tablet. It is the first version that Samsung came out with and it’s frustrating that I can’t update the operating system as it can’t upgrade some apps. Sounds like my problem might be an issue with early Samsung products .

OK, with the Samsung 10.1 v2 running Android 4.0.3 I have managed to install Chrome and now the headers on the sites view OK. Still no luck with the Samsung 10.1 running Android 3.2. Unable to upgrade operating system or install Chrome. Still can’t view headers.- This reply was modified 10 years, 2 months ago by ttrott54.
