Hi,
Recently I have been having real trouble getting into my admin page. For the last couple of days it was just a white screen but my friend who does my updates and backups has rolled it back so I can get into it but all the plugins are disabled.
I recently updated Revolution Slider after an email informed me the older versions were prone to hacking issues and have since deleted it, and also updated the Contact Form and Google Analytics but that’s it. All seemed fine until it just stopped working and I really, really need to update it (it’s my business site)
One issue was that the theme update simply wouldn’t work, as in I’d click it (Enfold Tab with the update alert next to it) but nothing…
I have included the private info, could someone maybe have a look for me, I’m at a total loss and not the most experienced at this stuff.
Please help!
September 11, 2014 at 4:09 pm #317470Hi ScarletView!
You’ll need to update your theme files so that the theme is updated to work with WordPress 4.0.
See: http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/updating-your-theme-files/
Cheers!

I really need this sorting today, it’s driving me mad. I appreciate your help, could you have a look at the admin via ftp for me and see if you can locate the issue?
September 12, 2014 at 4:37 am #317816Hi!
The memory limit has been maxed out. Please increase the wordpress php memory limit to at least 128M. Refer to this link: http://www.dailyblogging.org/wordpress/increase-wordpress-memory-limit/

IsmaelSeptember 16, 2014 at 2:20 am #319529Okay I’m trying to do this but constantly getting the 503 temporarily unavailable screen…
If I can ever get in, is it a case of opening the wp-config.php text file and editing by adding define(‘WP_MEMORY_LIMIT’, ’64M’); just anywhere or somewhere in particular?
September 16, 2014 at 3:31 am #319540There are a couple of different ways to do it: http://dailyblogging.org/wordpress/increase-wordpress-memory-limit/
September 16, 2014 at 3:24 pm #319914Yeah that’s the link I was going off. I’m getting the 503 tenporarily unavailable page when I try to get in the admin and as per the instructions on that blog…

September 16, 2014 at 4:39 pm #319992I’ve just tried adding it into the wp-config.php file again and still not working.
This is now becoming a real problem…
September 17, 2014 at 6:11 pm #320649Still no joy and Temporarily unavailable again all day so far
September 18, 2014 at 5:57 am #320898Hey!
Thank you for the update.
Try it again one more time using this on wp-config.php:
define('WP_MEMORY_LIMIT', 128M');
Please contact your host if it’s not working. They can increase the memory limit for you. Also, ask them if you can exceed a certain limit.
Best regards,
IsmaelSeptember 18, 2014 at 4:06 pm #321264Doing that put the site down and I can no longer access dashboard. This is really, really becoming a big issue at a very bad time. Will try contacting host if there’s nothing else I can do
