Hi Guys,
I am having some trouble with my control panel as some of the functions do not seem to work.
More precisely: I cannot open the Widget area (can’t open the dropdown and edit) and I can’t edit some pages.
Please see here a couple of screenshots to illustrate.https://www.dropbox.com/s/11c1ce044ijfbdb/Screen%20Shot%202014-09-06%20at%2015.24.40.png?dl=0

The widgets and pages that I previously edited display well on the website.
Everything was working fine before. What I did is:– update WP manually, now is running version 4.0
– updated the theme and all plugins
– Check the file permissions
– Check the file ownership on my host
– disabled all plugins (error still there) and enabled again.I read a few post relating to similar issues but nothing came out of it. Could it be WP 4.0 related?
Could somebody please assist me?
Thanks and regards,
eurekastudios
September 8, 2014 at 10:34 am #314931I have the same issue. Must be the upgrade to WordPress 4.0. I hope you get an answer soon as I need to edit my widgets!
September 8, 2014 at 12:39 pm #315001Hey!
Thank you for using Enfold.
Make sure that you’re running Enfold 2.9.2 to compensate for the WordPress 4.0 update. This should sort the issue. If not, maybe a plugin is causing the issue. Deactivate all plugins then test it again.
Best regards,
IsmaelSeptember 8, 2014 at 2:10 pm #315047Thanks Ismael,
Updating the Enfold version has sorted out the widget issue.
However I now have an issue with the library, I can upload an image but when I go back to it it has disappeared.
I CAN add an image to a post or page though.I deactivated all the plugins and tested as suggested without success. Any ideas?
Thanks and regards,
September 8, 2014 at 2:32 pm #315057Hi Guys,
I have the same problem and the theme does not show an update is available, where do I update? Thanks,
CindySeptember 8, 2014 at 3:12 pm #315104Sorted, somewhere along the way the WPML Media plugin had been de-activated.
Reactivating it sorted out the Library issue.September 8, 2014 at 3:32 pm #315137@Cindy I went to ThemeForest where I purchased it and downloaded a new version.
Then I updated my site with the new version through FTP.September 8, 2014 at 3:36 pm #315143Hi!
@cinzlewis Please login on ThemeForest with the account you have purchased Enfold and go to Downloads section to download the latest version and update the theme via FTP – http://vimeo.com/67209750
@eurekastudios Thank you for helping :)Regards,
YigitSeptember 8, 2014 at 10:11 pm #315365@Yigit, glad to help others as I am being helped :)
Although I do have my Library back, I cannot load to it. I get the error:
An error occurred in the upload. Please try again later.
Also in my Library I can see about 200/300 copies of the same image. I did not upload that many.
I then de-activated the WPML Media plugin and the error disappeared but my previous issue with the Library came back.
With the FTP I can see that the image is loading on WP, just not showing up on the Library.Could you please advise?
Thanks and regards
September 8, 2014 at 10:30 pm #315381I read on another post that this very issue can be sorted by updating the WPML plugin.

How do I get the latest version since it is shipped with the Theme?
Cheers,
September 9, 2014 at 12:06 am #315422Hi!
WPML plugin is not included in Enfold theme, it is just fully compatible. Please contact WPML support here – http://wpml.org/

YigitSeptember 9, 2014 at 2:35 pm #315878Hi Yigit,
You are correct, my mistake. I did purchase it and it has now been updated.
Now, I can upload an image to the Library and it stays there, which is good.
The issue of the duplicated thumbnails is still there though:https://www.dropbox.com/s/t4n85w6mlxnoafr/Screen%20Shot%202014-09-09%20at%2014.27.27.png?dl=0
My website has about 25 images top, the number of thumbnails is 2520 which makes the task of finding an image very difficult.
Nothing I do (delete) makes them go away.
I did find a thread that addresses this issue but it’s not really a fix:https://kriesi.at/support/topic/media-library-bug-thousands-of-duplicates/
Any advise please?
PS: I am quite away from my OP, don’t hesitate to let me know if you prefer me to make a new thread. :)
