When I create a post and publish it, it doesn’t appear in my Masonry grid on the homepage of my website. I have the grid pulling the posts from my default category. When I login to the admin interface and look at the site, the posts are all visible. The only way that I can get it to appear is to go to the homepage Masonry Grid, open it to update it, make no changes, click Save and Publish the homepage again. This makes the new post appear. What can I do so that I don’t have to do this each time?

Do you have any plugin or server cache? Or maybe it’s just a browser cache? Try creating a new post then check the masonry page on another browser or computer.
