Hello,
I have just installed Enfold 2.9.2.
The sub-menus of the navigation drop down menu display over the whole page. This seems to be something related to js or css layers.
I get the same issue with 2.9.1.
I get the same results using Firefox Chrome and IE on Win.
The site runs on Linux and enfold.zip was FTP’s and then ‘unzip enfold.zip’ and then chown -R name:name * as ssh was in root mode.
So, all the files seem to be OK.
Any ideas? How could I turn off the drop down menu in the meantime? Which files should I check?TIA!
August 31, 2014 at 4:46 am #311433Hi klevanet!
Thank you for using Enfold.
Did you import the dummy data multiple times? You haven’t created a menu in Appearance > Menus panel. You can set those menus as Enfold Main Menu, Secondary Menu or Footer Menu.

Under /wp-admin/nav-menus.php , I have Menu Settings > Theme Locations ticket on for Enfold Main menu and Secondary Menu but still same result.
I may indeed have imported the dummy data mulitple times. How do I remove and re-import? Maybe I should reinstall everythng from scratch?
ThanksSeptember 1, 2014 at 3:32 pm #311871Hi!
You are going to need to remove pages, posts, comments, etc manually. You can go to Appearance > Menus and manage your menus as well. You can create a new menu, add the pages you would like to display in it and then check “Enfold secondary menu” under Menu Settings

YigitSeptember 1, 2014 at 3:58 pm #311885i have the same Problem after new installation of WP and Enfold 2.9.2; Version 2.9.2 is not cool!
after Import Dummy Data 1 Times, the Menues and Submenues are in the Slider Pic and not sorted in the Pull Down Menue!you must install older Version 2.8.1 and then use Theme Update Funktion and all runs fine!

September 2, 2014 at 3:03 pm #312326Hi!
You can simply order your menu items in Appearance > Menus and please make sure to check “Enfold main menu” under Menu Settings to display your menu correctly :)
Best regards,

i was looking at the enfold demo site by mistake. sighdelete from here ————->
/* helloHopefully I have finally solved this issue.
After the dummy install, all submenus are set at Order = 0 (Under page attributes, right hand side of screen)
Setting just one of these to 1, (I randomly chose ‘Home v4: Small Slider’) seems to have solved the issue. This after reinstalling the entire WP , Db and theme and wasting countless and stress factors.
Enfold team, please have a look at this issue to spare other souls from similar torture. Thanks
