Hi there,
I’d really like to use the hotspots feature on as image in the layer slider.
I’ve created an image with hotspots then cut the code into the html section of the layer slider but I think I’ve copied the area that looks for the image as well and it’s causing a white box to display.
Could you help sort out the piece of code I don’t need, I’ve copied it below??[av_image_hotspot src='https://dhmc.hyperdesign.co.nz/wp-content/uploads/2014/08/Moss-Mould-treatments.jpg' attachment='3253' attachment_size='full' animation='pop-up' hotspot_layout='numbered' hotspot_mobile='aviaTBhotspot_mobile']
[av_image_spot tooltip_pos='av-tt-pos-above av-tt-align-left' tooltip_width='av-tt-default-width' tooltip_style='main_color' hotspot_color='custom' custom_bg='#104b95' custom_font='' custom_pulse='' hotspot_pos='62.5,57.5']
Moss and mould treatments for masonary, concrete and brick work
[/av_image_spot]
[av_image_spot tooltip_pos='av-tt-pos-above av-tt-align-left' tooltip_width='av-tt-default-width' tooltip_style='main_color' hotspot_color='' custom_bg='' custom_font='' custom_pulse='' hotspot_pos='25,71']
Roof Treatments – removal of moss and mould and roof cleaning

[av_image_spot tooltip_pos='av-tt-pos-above av-tt-align-left' tooltip_width='av-tt-default-width' tooltip_style='main_color' hotspot_color='custom' custom_bg='#104b95' custom_font='' custom_pulse='' hotspot_pos='79.2,86']

[/av_image_hotspot]August 30, 2014 at 10:18 am #311201Hey!
I just tested something like that on my end and it worked, can you post a link to your website?
Please note that the image with hotspots element is not meant to be used in this environment so we can’t ensure its full functionality.
Cheers!
JosueAugust 30, 2014 at 10:25 am #311206Hi Josue,
I realised the hotspot isn’t suppose to be in the layer slider but I imagine you’ll adapt the theme soon because it’s such a cool feature.
Link to site below – many thanks :)
http://dhmc.hyperdesign.co.nz/August 30, 2014 at 10:35 am #311210Hey!
Seems to be working fine – http://screencast.com/t/vxtcjmdyoCx
I’d suggest removing the image layer behind of it.

JosueFebruary 28, 2015 at 3:42 pm #403848Hi Josue,
I also tried to implement images with hotspot into layerslider as described. Everything works finde except the full width. The image always shows up in the original size, although the page with the image is built up with fullsize option.
Best regards

yes of course. Here you are:
It is the second slide! The others are workarounds. Slider settings are set to 100% width and 865px height with fullscreen option ON.

JosueMay 23, 2015 at 5:49 pm #449079Hi there,
again problems with HOTSPOT images in the layerslider :-(
I copied as adviced the code into the content section and added the hoptspot class. It all worked fine until I added additional slides this way. From now on none of these slides appeared on the stage – only a black background. When repeating it happend thart one of the slides shows up but the other not. I cleared all caches but the problem still exists.

just an idea: Perhaps it would work better with Revolution Slider?
Best regards
KlausMay 26, 2015 at 11:08 am #449974Maybe, give it a try if you have it available.

JosueMay 26, 2015 at 2:04 pm #450074Hi Josue,
yes I will. Nevertheless, could you try to determine what went wrong with layerslider?
THX
KlausMay 26, 2015 at 8:30 pm #450298Sorry Josue, I thought Revolution Slider is integrated in enfold. I mistook it with another theme. It would be great if you could have a look at the layerslider problem. The admin account is still accessible.
Thank you

No i don’t, sorry. I’m checking the slider right now but it couldn’t note any slide going black, can you point which slide is the one with the problem?
Best regards,

Check it now, the hotspots shortcodes had some weird characters in their attributes, i cleaned them up and now it seems to be working as expected.

JosueNovember 11, 2015 at 4:35 pm #534181Hi Josue,
wie erhalte ich den Shortcode des Elements “Image with Hotspot”?
Ich habe das Image with Hotspot auf einer separaten Seite erstellt und möchte nun den Shortcode in den Layerslider einfügen.
Ist das der richtige Weg?
DANKE und schöne GrüßeNovember 12, 2015 at 1:45 pm #534726@ae88
Shortcodes kannst du sehen indem du den debug mode einschaltest.Gruß,
