    Hi,

    I’ve been using the Enfold theme with no problems at all on my website, but now I’ve reached a point where any changes that I make over the theme options doesn’t apply back on the website, e.g.:
    – Changes over the header or footer colors.
    – Any changes at all under styling won’t take effect.
    – The main header of the english version of the website has a background image that i can’t get rid off (even though there;s no background image selected)

    Any ideas on how to troubleshoot this? I’ve been looking around in the forum but could not locate a similar issue.

    Hi!

    Thank you for using our theme.

    You are using the latest version of enfold and of WP?

    Try to deactivate all plugins and check, if the problem still occurs.

    Maybe you run into a php memory problem. Try to open wp-config.php and add at the bottom:

    
define( 'WP_MEMORY_LIMIT', '128M' );
define( 'WP_MAX_MEMORY_LIMIT', '256M' );

    If this does not help check the possible memory limits with your hoster.

    I am seeing this problem. I am working on a staging site and was able to change the colors before but now it seems to not be working. I have tried deactivating all the plugins and changing the wp-config.php but neither seemed to make any changes. It was working before as I had edited the colors earlier but since then something has stopped it working and I am at a loss as to what it could be. I will need to give you access to the site via IP as it is currently locked down during the creation of the updated site.

    Hi!

    Are both WordPress and the theme updated to the latest versions? WP 4.1.1 Enfold 3.1.4

    If updating doesn’t work, could you please try to overwrite all theme files via FTP? http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/updating-your-theme-files/

    Hi!

    It seems like you are using version 3.1.1. Latest version is 3.1.3. Please try updating the theme via FTP and make sure to overwrite all files – http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/updating-your-theme-files/

    Sorry, I meant WP 4.1.1 and Enfold 3.1.3. I have uploaded the latest version via SFTP, overwriting all the files and still no change. The site is likely to go live soon (the colors are Ok, but someone pointed out they can be tough to read, hence the desire to edit them again). Once it is live I can give you access to see what the problem is.

    It appears that the transfer to the original site has fixed the problem. So I don’t know what the problem was, but it seems to now be sufficient in that the problem is no longer seen.
